Auld Lang Syne – A Glasgow Lads Holiday Short

Hiya and Happy Holidays! Along with 47 other authors, I’m taking part in this year’s Rainbow Advent Calendar. Each of us is contributing one FREE and EXCLUSIVE holiday short.

To read the stories by the many authors as they’re released December 1-24, join the Rainbow Advent Calendar Facebook group (be sure to set notifications on!). Links to all stories as they appear will be added to the 2018 Rainbow Advent Calendar on the website of our heroic coordinator, Alex Lane.

My offering is called “Auld Lang Syne.” It’s a short prequel to my latest Glasgow Lads novel, Playing in the Dark. It contains no spoilers and can be read as a stand-alone for readers who are new to the series.

Auld Lang Syne cover

Cover for Auld Lang Syne, holiday short prequel to Playing in the Dark (Evan & Ben). See links below to read.

Auld Lang Syne

Wedding planner Ben and secret agent Evan meet for the first time on New Year’s Eve, at the wedding of Evan’s ex-boyfriend. Can Ben melt this jaded spy’s frozen heart and make him believe in love again?

“Auld Lang Syne” contains kilts, castles, and not-so-random acts of kindness. As a prequel, it ends in a Hopefully-Ever-After. NSFW.

Read the PDF version of “Auld Lang Syne” (~30 pages, opens in a new tab).

Download a Kindle or ePub version from Bookfunnel (no opt-in required).
